Floor plan & tables

Draw your room once; the register runs on it.

Create tables

  1. 1Go to Tables & QR codes to create your tables — one at a time, or a numbered run (1–20) in one tap.
  2. 2Each table gets its own QR code that opens your menu pre-tagged to that table, so dine-in guests can order from their phones.

Design the floor

  1. 1Open Floor plan and add service areas (Main Dining, Bar, Patio…).
  2. 2If tables you created aren't placed yet, a banner offers to bring them into the current area — then tap Arrange to lay everything into a tidy grid.
  3. 3Drag tables to match your room; drag the blue corner to resize; use the inspector to set shape, seats, and rotation.
  4. 4Add Elements (walls, a bar, doors, plants) to make the map read like your actual room.

The floor-plan designer — drag tables, add areas and elements; it autosaves.

Everything autosaves a moment after you stop moving things — you can't lose a layout.

The live floor

At the register, the floor shows every table's state: grey = available, blue = seated, amber = ordered, purple = check dropped — each occupied table shows the party size, the running total, the server, and a dine timer that glows amber past 45 minutes and red past 90.

Tap a table to start or resume its order. Tables free up when the check is paid.

Course pace timers: once a course fires, its header shows "fired 12m ago" — green, then amber at 15 minutes and red at 30 — so you know when the table is ready for the next course without walking to the kitchen.

Shared apps and split bottles: pick Shared or Split on an item, then tap specific seat numbers to share it among just those guests (e.g. 1 + 3) — their separate checks each get an even share automatically. A − Seat button removes an extra empty seat.

Splitting AND paying: on the pay screen, split Evenly or By items, then tap Charge this check on each card — every check takes its own card, cash, or gift payment (with its own tip), prints its own receipt, and turns green PAID. A half-paid table is safe to park and recall.

No tip at payment? If you print tip-line receipts or use adjust-after, tipless card sales land in the Needs tip list automatically — enter the written tip from All orders.

Walk-ins? Tap Waitlist on the floor: add the name, party size, mobile and a quoted wait. One tap texts them "your table is ready"; Seat takes you straight to their table's new order.

Party moving? Tap Move / merge, tap their table, then tap where they're going — an empty table moves the whole check (timer and all); an occupied one combines the two checks onto it.
